A major role in developing and maintaining a strong public opinion and support for social issues is the role of sociologists who need to study all aspects of a society's development, including human behavior, and their impact on society.For a society to be able to deal with social issues, it must first understand the key role these issues play in their society. In many cases, society's management of social issues can be seen as a mirror to the society's leadership. It is important to be able to explain both to the public and society as a whole how social issues can affect the entire society.Sociology teaches students to think like a sociologist and will teach them how to formulate questions and develop research, or 'studies,' that relate to these social issues. They will also learn how to use such research to influence public policy and public opinion. Students will also learn the processes that lead to change or study history and interact with different organizations to prepare them for future work. The last part of studying sociology in school will be to continue their studies in college or university.If a student has not studied sociology in school or has never worked with sociologist s, he or she should seek out this subject in the first year of college. After all, one of the most important skills needed in the workplace is being able to read social issues.
